Very cool. I hope Mike gets more orders. Anybody know how he is doing. Pneumonia is no small matter.

I was honestly impressed by the 46. The low B's on my basses can easily challenge most compact cabs that don't handle the 40 down to 30hz range and this cab delivered in spades all while being very transparent to the other frequencies that were being produced in the mids and treble. Very nice cab!! I want one!!

Played the flex210 again the other night, in a more 'traditional' setting: on stage with a drummer and 3 guitarists. Did I say they were loud? (Say again? What was that??), FOH, monitors, etc.

Anyhow, sweet lord this cab sounds great. It put out insane volume and low end to keep up with a very loud band, and the kicker is that it did so seemingly effortlessly. It never sounded peaky or like it was pushing anything. The sound and volume was just 'there' with plenty to spare and the low end was stunning. It made the gig really enjoyable and sounded better than anything I've used recently. With my F bass vintage 5, my custom 6 and Zon Fretless, every bass sounded like the best version of itself, and the cab imparted little to no sonic footprint of its own, every bass sounded totally different and equally great. So.... Once again, i love it. Probably need to stop borrowing it from Nomatic, as I can't afford one, and it's making my cabs sound less spectacular by comparison. Down boy!!!

Mike, I got your message and look forward to giving you a ring back tomorrow so we can holler at each other (as they say down here).

I am in agreement with Jake that this cab is a joy to use.
its interesting how different each bass sounds through the flex
and how seems to not be close to its dynamic limit.

Crazy loud, and quite efficient. With the Puma 900's master at about noon (gain at 2-3 oclock) its the loudest single bass cabinet that I've ever heard. I've not heard 1515/66's or the tecamp bad cab (for example), but it blows away any other cab I can think of in terms of volume. And the stoopid part is that it doesnt even break a sweat at that volume. Deary me.

Looks like Spring Lake is about 4+ hours away from Ashville, but on the off chance you'd like to pay Spring Lake a visit with the Flex let me know. I'll be there some time in June for a big outdoor concert; will be there for a week, but won't be able to break away too much.

It is incredible. I don't think I could be happy owning anything else after the 210 really. I managed to scrape together enough funds to cover most of what we lost in the accident, so I am happy to say my Flex is off the market!

I just had a good conversation with Mike. Given that pneumonia is no joke, I've asked him to delay my cabinet delivery (though it'll still be here in plenty of time for the Bay Area GTG).
Maybe I'm a masochist... nah.
But busting one's hump working while recovering from pneumonia is often a ticket to health hell.
