Feeling much better---I'm going crazy sitting around. Back to work tomorrow!

Thanks to everyone for being so supportive in my moment of hypochondriasis! (looked up the spelling)

Put me about ten days behind but I'll be bustin' my butt to get caught up!

I never argue with guru's and Senseis (I did not look up the spelling):smug:, of course, since I am now a slacker. But I am glad you are feeling chipper, and still recommend a slow sensible return to your normally driven routine. Glad you are feeling better!

I perfected the art of doing nothing in my 20s. Pretty sure I got my 10,000 hours in, so I'm technically a pro. Unfortunately those skills don't really serve me these days!!

I would love to hear a more detailed comparison of the flex 210versus the flex 110+110 sub. As utterly amazing as the 210performed, I think my needs wpuld be much better served with a modular rig, since I seem to do a lot of smaller gigs as well.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who has this thought

Good news Mike, another MAS109 order coming as soon as I can get some ebayers to pay up!!

Your JC bass will sound incredible through the MAS109! I was thinking about a JC bass though my Walkabout/109 mini rig just the other day. If I can sell the bass I've got in the classifieds right now, that may be the next move.

hey Jake
We're doing a re-engineering of the xover so that it won't be a 110Flex plus a 110 sub.

We'll be able to do essentially a 110 Flex top with the extra tweet like in the 210 and be able to do all the voicings of both the 110Flex and the 210Flex. So alone it will function like a 110 Flex and when you add the sub it will be identical to the 210 Flex. I'm making one for Kessleri right now. That's the one I want for myself.

No compromises.Except for a few extra bucks. (but not too much)

I will never sell the JC, it's that good. Just kills in the blues scene here. It's super flexible in sound and dynamics. I'm pretty two 109s will be in my future at some point :)

What would be REALLY helpful, in light of this info, would be a brief run down of the basic stats of each cab in the Big E line, plus a short summary statement of the capabilities/timbre of each. I've read all the posts on these threads, but there is a lot of diffuse info, changing designs, etc. I would love a vertical sampling of what each cab is about in one succinct statement.

Is there a notable tone/volume/projection difference between the 46 and the 45/110? How does the Flex110 hold up against the previously mentioned cabs? Would I be dead in the water on a medium sized 8 piece GB gig with a 45/no sub on 5 string electric? Would Flex110+sub destroy all these in dB/SPL, or is it close? Since this is all new technology, a general comparison against a "typical" cab could also help clarify what each of these could stand in for (e.g. Flex110 ~ generic 310 or whatever).

I'd just about drop the coin immediately if I had something like this. I'm a working urban bassist, and these cabs seem like a real blessing. Thanks!

I just pm'd about giving me a call. OK later tonight I'm going to spend the 2 hours needed to do what you asked.

I really understand the frustration of what you're talking about. Steve Regier (of Big E ) is SCREAMING at me about this. I've been so crazy busy getting cabs out and simultaneously tweaking existing designs to their optimum and dialing in new designs. It's actually coming together and I'll be farming out some of the construction to someone on our team who is---to be honest--a better builder. My stuff is good, but he can crank them out at an uber high quality and larger volume. The interest in the cabs is kindof exploding and I'm glad to finally be able to take advantage of what we've been planning and hoping would happen.

Steve is working on a kick-butt website for me and I'm getting him decent pictures.

I'm glad you asked for this because it's what Steve has been bugging me for for months.

Alright already---I'm doing it!!!

Hey Mike,

I fully appreciate the volume of work you do, and the exceptionally high quality of your efforts. Based on what I read here and hear of your playing on YouTube, you're basically superhuman. Please don't stress on account of my question--I'm not frustrated--I'm amazed and curious.

WHEN you get to typing your info up, I'm sure many will appreciate it. In the meantime, I will mosdef give you a call. I'm pretty sure I speak for most here when I say I love what you're doing, and the way you are doing it.

Much respect--
Ryan

What amp(s) are you using? A full tube or hybrid amp with a JC bass and two MAS109's would be a mighty sound.

I'm running a Shuttlemax 9.2, which has been the ideal doubling amp for me (upright too). I currently running into the new fender bassman 410. Great cab, but the MAS cabs have been on my radar for 1 year or so. The 109 just clicks off a ton of things for me, 40# is portable, like tall cabs, modular - 2!, and the 3 inch point up is very attractive for old earplug head here... Can't wait. Full tube one day I hope, need a few more basses first.

Just a suggestion, but you might also post the info somewhere on Facebook - your page or the Big E page or both -- should be good exposure.

Ok---EVERYONE is bugging me about my website. It's up and running but definitely under construction. I edited my profile to include it but I don't know if it's showing up. Within the next few weeks all the info will be there and correct. It's getting there. Steve didn't tell me that it's accepting orders but two guys tried ti buy something but there was a glitch. Steve will fix it today.

I tried to add my website address---I think that's ok as the other manufacturers have them---but it doesn't seem to work. I keep entering it and save changes but it doesn't seem to stick. I go back and it's blank. I'll ask the mods.

That it? I see it in your sig, though it's not a click-able link.

Try clearing your browser cache and then refreshing the page. Bet you'll see it then.

I can see how the Max version of the 9.2 would truly be a great amp doubling due to the two channels. That is sort of one of those "I should of had a V8" moments there.
