Growing up I was a huge Pat Travers fan. A few years ago I met Mars (original bassist) at a party in Miami. The pbass he brought had an after market body and SD Antiquity pickups.

I'm going to add Chuck Rainey. I'm on a mission to get the feel these three have in their playing. R&B is my primary influence.
If ever I get there, maybe I can add to the list.

Now that I think about this a little more, I can't believe I didn't say Entwistle!

I spent an awful lot of time listening to Live at Leeds when I was starting out playing. Major influence on me!

I don't necessarily think of players as people who need to P or J, but I will note Roger Glover as an early influence who P'd fairly regularly, at least early on.

Too many! Hard to decide on one but all of these guys and some others as well, were a huge influence on me. I don’t know if they all played Precisions though.
