Yea i picked up that DVD, overall it was a great performance, i would of much rather see Myung with Petrucci though.

Billy Sheehan Yamaha Attitude II limited

Being the P-bass fanatic that I am I was very curious about this bass for a long time but eventually concluded it wasn't for me. Too many of the features are just plain worthless to me. The stereo outs, steel rods in the neck for vibrato, and scalloped frets I have no real use for. I heard they made a cheaper version of the Attitude without those 3 features. I really hate that the p pickup doesn't have a tone knob. I also keep hearing that it has a jazz neck. Thin necks equate to hand pain for me.

i own a blue attitude ltd I n i tink its one of the best rock bass around. my views may be pretty one sided, since its my dream bass, but i'll try my best to ne neutral..
upside:
its really a p bass on steroids!! the push/pull 'boost' knob activates NOS to the p pups. scallop does help in the string bending. the D tuner allows me to play more 'low' songs. chunky neck but amazingly fast.
downside is:
u wont get a variety of tones with dis bass. the woofer pups needs a suitable powerful amp or else it'll blow the speaker off!!! the 'boost' is overpowering sometimes..needs a gd pair of amps to fully utilize this bass.. AMPEG perhaps?? u have to play loud with this bass, no other way to it!!
all in all, its a really gd bass if u know wat kinda music its suitable for.

Anybody know anything about the Attitude Deluxe? There's a picture of one in the "How the Fender Bass Changed The World," and it looks like a cool concept. A single, MM-like pickup, three-way switch, and two knobs. I've looked around, but never seen one, in person or for sale. I'd like to know where did fell in the Yamaha quality spectrum.

P-pick-up is very powerful. Neck pick-up? It is good to enhance the tone but it is way more quiter than P. It may be i would adjust it...
