It's time for you all to meet the family...
In the front is my newest acquisition. Here are the specs:
1. Sadhana body style
2. Delano XTender pickup
3. Walnut body wings
4. Ebony stringers
5. Walnut body core with rosewood cap on the front of the body
6. Rosewood fretless fingerboard
7. Rosewood headstock cap
This thing absolutely sings, even with flatwounds. It is stunning in every way.
In the middle is my main player for the past two years, a 2014 CortoBass. Specs:
1. Mahogany body
2. Maple neck
3. Standard CortoBass pickup configuration.
This bass was my gateway into Birdsongs. I bought it from a fellow TB'er and it quickly replaced my full scale basses.
In the back is my new SD Curlee Standard 76 (left handed) which I received just a couple months ago. Specs:
1. Mahogany body
2. Maple neck w/ maple fretboard
3. Pecan body core
4. DiMarzio Model One pickup
What a great bass to learn lefty with. An extremely aggressive bass. It is tempting to get a right handed one so I can have that sound in my arsenal of right handed instruments.
I had someone request in this thread sound clips from the SD Curlee. I have never figured out a good way to record bass here at home, but it is on my summer list of projects. Hopefully I can get it figured out and post something soon.

C285 meet C394 my future CBass. Scott and I are working on my next build. After 43 basses and 13 in house I’m looking forward to a simple P Bass.
I don't know why, but I've always found mahogany necks to be really gorgeous, even when I didn't have much of a taste for mahogany bodies. I agree that corto is damn fine looking.
Also jealous that your C-bass is up (and has a serial number). I'm still a few months from "finalizing the wood choices" on my "fusion w/cbass pickup" that's in the pipeline.

My first on was 10 months. I put a deposit down November last year for my CBass
Scott’s shop got hit by lightning so there’s a couple more weeks delay. But it’s worth it.
I have a fretted mesquite Corto 2 (C 327 made in 2015)...the favorite of my three Birdsongs. The mesquite wood is relatively hard (and a bit heavy)...great sustain on mine.

Looks like the wood decision on my next bass has been made. Mesquite & Bloodwood is looking like the final call.
That's too bad, it's a beautiful bass. Maybe attempt contacting a second time?
I did a few hours ago. The bass was listed about a month ago so perhaps it's no longer available. I'm not giving up so easy. If no response by tomorrow I'll send another message.
