Ooh, how do you like that Reverend? I want a 5 that can do the hot-rod P-bass thing. Invalid Link Removed but haven’t ruled out the Reverends.

I love the Reverend! It’s P-Bass is spectacular. The rear H doesn’t quite bite like I would like it to, but blended with the P it tightens things up beautifully.

That ESP looks pretty good! Not sure what model of EMG pickup is in there, but the hardware looks top notch!

I also play a Warwick streamer, which has MEC p/j pickups and an Aguilar OBP-2, and it makes the Reverend sound like a cuddly toy. The ‘wick is just pure aggression and violence compared to the Reverends warmth, balance and classic sensibilities!

OK bro - looks awesome, but now we need your initial impressions. Any sonic changes? Of course, louder but how bout the sound and are you having to change eq setttings, etc?

My only initial impression is that the 210 has more top end- like 4K and above.

More ‘air’ as the cork sniffers would say here on TB.

But the usable high mid and treble seems to be equivalent between the two.

In the next few days I will play both at ear level through my darkglass VD into the effects returns. That will give us the knowledge we crave!

It’s funny how, when you stack cabs, it feels like you are only hearing the top can.

I know the 250 ext cab has separate volume - adjusting it higher solve the problem?

No problem really, just the cab that is pointing at your ankles is tougher to hear than the one pointed at your ears.

They are Very well matched volume-wise.
So I just picked up my stack. Great first inpression of the 2x10, punchy, diggin the Modern 6L6 sound. But the ext cab was marked and crackled at volume (was unpacked) looks like im returning it tomorrow and ordering a new one. *sigh*

Wife doesn't need my side of the bedroom right?

Hot covers are pretty damn good quality! I had 2 x Customs made with large pockets to accommodate FS-12/cables/surge/hip-flask.... lol

Working on a "Franken-Swingsling".... very much a work in progress atm....

Schwing!

Sorry to hear about the crackle.

Hope they sort you quickly.

The 210 is amazing.
