Blew a kt88 in a mesa four 88......

Yeah appreciate it bud. I know im new to the group, and been schooled on some technical stuff, called some people out on some stuff, shared my opinions, been made a fool.....but thats all a part of learning i guess, and we all gatta learn somehow! But yes i tend to be too much of a free spirit, and speak my mind too quick. But thats just me. And i hope everyone, or most of everyone on here will understand. Funk head. Hell yeah. Im all about some funk. Not much of a slapper but love to get funky with a pick. Most people dont realize you cant just pick up the funk. One must be BORN with the funk baby. Rock on buddy. I have too many amps and it wasn't getting enough play time. Cool amp for sure but I preferred my other tubes amps (400+, SVT II, V4B).
400+ to me is waaay overkill for my gigs. Hell even the svt classic was here and there.....but i do know how killer the tone was in a v4b. (70s model) only thing i hated about it that it wasnt enough power for big gigs and weighed almost as much as a svt. I messed around and bought an ebs classic 90t just for the heck of it a few hours ago. Prob just an at home use head but i got to try it.
V4B reissues are only 40ish lbs. Stick it on a big cab and it'll be plenty loud for big gigs. Maybe not super clean but that's the reason you ply a V4B over an SVT.
It can still get painfully loud through a big cab, too. Dude from one of the other doom bands we played with was using one. It was obscene loudness.
Was that the ebs 90T that was recently on eBay? If so, that was a good price. I have one and it's a great sounding head.
There's so much back and forth arguing on here and so I'm just going to post it I blew a tube in my Mesa Boogie Prodigy 488 how do I replace my tube or is there a video anywhere? I can't read through all this lol thanks!!!
