Is that true?
Once you're on the recording, how can you "remove them"? Haven't they already been paid, or received credit for their work on the album?
If this was done after the fact...to avoid residuals...I am sure that Bob and Lee would have a good case to sue them for cutting them out of their royalties, if any were promised. You have to remember that back in the day, royalties were not always part of the deal.
Total unsung hero. His credentials are amazing! Listen to the bass in "No More Tears". Simple but amazing! Guy is great.
Sharon's awful. Why do you think Dio fronted Sabbath has to tour as "Heaven & Hell'?!
Plus he supposedly wrote a lot of the lyrics for the early Ozzy LPs.....it's a crime that shrew Sharon Osbourne removed him & Lee Kerslake from the recordings because she's too cheap to pay them.

Wait... what did they re-record, and how do I know if what I have was re-recorded?

I think anything with a copyright of 1995 or earlier is Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake.
The latest "remaster" of Blizzard and Diary have the re-recorded bass and drum tracks. If it's the remaster from 2002 (IIRC) and the bass and drums sound awful, you have the re-recorded disks.
I have nothing against Trujillo and Bordin, but those albums sound awful with them playing those parts.
