Boosting a slave amp?

Try going (Minimega FX Send) > (Graphic EQ) > (CVX Stereo Input).
Does the Minimega still work if you don't plug anything back into the FX Return? Or does it interrupt the signal? I skimmed the webpage but it doesn't specify if it's series or parallel FX loop.
Still get sound with FX out to whatever and no FX in.
So parallel unplugged, series plugged, right?

I did try the EQ out before i resorted to the pedal.
The EQ wasn't quite enough
My graphic EQ is +-12db
And the boost pedal is +-20 or 28db acording to who you ask.

Actually tried an overdrive pedal first, but it colored the sound too much. Then ran out to my local guitar center for a used clean boost pedal. It was only $30!

The headliner stack is labled 1600w program.
And the SV(T)stack is 1400w program.
BTW

I plan on trying this setup out with my Mesa Boogie V12 instead of the miniMega at practice tomorrow and see how that sounds!
Starting with everything turned down first of course lol

Sadly haven't got a chance to try the Mesa V-12. It started cutting out on me before I even got a chance to swap it into this setup.
A moment of silence, and a prayer to your chosen deity that it comes back from the repair shop without the silent part.

So anyway, the rig did real well at a local gig. Even let another bands bassist play through half of it.

And then.... I went on FB marketplace and scored an Ampeg SVT-7!
It had the upgraded board and heatsink already installed too!!
Even came with a spare tube

So the new, new setup is
bass through my now overly complicated pedal train into
The Ampeg SVT-7 with a
31 band rack EQ in the FX loop,
Driving the two Peavey SVT 410s.
The EQ is
dialed in for that "psyco-acoustic" brown note. But with the sub subs cut the keep my speakers alive.
Plus, gotta give the sound guy a reason to use the house subs, right?

Ditched the power amp thst started this thread and now the Ampeg SVT-7 direct out is going into to a Peavey "tour series" Headliner 1000-pro
iIt's driving the two headlinder 410 cabs
So, yeah "2000" watts and 16 10" speakers !

And no need to boost the signal between amps. The volume is pretty balanced between the two 1000 watt amps.
Dont mind the MiniMega, its not called in ATM.

Did I mention i was making some mad max grills out of some rusty chrome scrap shelving? Gonna maybe weld some chain for the cross bars. IDK yet.
I'm open to suggestions.
