Sadly haven't got a chance to try the Mesa V-12. It started cutting out on me before I even got a chance to swap it into this setup.
A moment of silence, and a prayer to your chosen deity that it comes back from the repair shop without the silent part.
So anyway, the rig did real well at a local gig. Even let another bands bassist play through half of it.
And then.... I went on FB marketplace and scored an Ampeg SVT-7!
It had the upgraded board and heatsink already installed too!!
Even came with a spare tube

So the new, new setup is
bass through my now overly complicated pedal train into
The Ampeg SVT-7 with a
31 band rack EQ in the FX loop,
Driving the two Peavey SVT 410s.
The EQ is dialed in for that "psyco-acoustic" brown note. But with the sub subs cut the keep my speakers alive.
Plus, gotta give the sound guy a reason to use the house subs, right?

Ditched the power amp thst started this thread and now the Ampeg SVT-7 direct out is going into to a Peavey "tour series" Headliner 1000-pro
iIt's driving the two headlinder 410 cabs
So, yeah "2000" watts and 16 10" speakers !

And no need to boost the signal between amps. The volume is pretty balanced between the two 1000 watt amps.
Dont mind the MiniMega, its not called in ATM.
Did I mention i was making some mad max grills out of some rusty chrome scrap shelving? Gonna maybe weld some chain for the cross bars. IDK yet.
I'm open to suggestions.
