useful device, looks like you could plug the headphones output into the 1/8 jack of the Radial and use the BOSS GT001 to feed amps and P.A.. Nevertheless, the Radial pedal costs nearly as much as the GT10B which handles everything in one box: dual XLR, dual 1/4, and a stereo 1/8 outputs.
How did it go for you?

we were messing around and the drummer yelled out CHAMELEON.
i clicked on the T-Wah... and WHAM instant Herbie! amazing.
i also did some digging about the balanced issue. My QSC K12 takes line level inputs. Unless i am running a LONG line out
from the GT-001, there really isn't a need for me to provide a balanced connection.
getting the QSC KSub this week to complete the rig!

I'm a guitarist and already own a GT-100. I have recently picked up bass after gaining a new appreciation for the instrument. However, the GT-100 was specifically designed for guitar, and most guitar effects are known to kill low-end when used for bass.
With great interest, I have read every single post in this thread and joined this web site to ask one single glaring question that hasn't been asked yet:
"Does using the BOSS GT-100 kill a bass's low-end like most all other made-for-guitar effects do, and if not, are there any other notable drawbacks to using the GT-100 instead of that ugly-ass GT-10B?"
I'm pretty excited about possibly using my GT-100 instead of having to purchase a 10B. But if the 10B is better, then I will.

I have not noticed any bottom end drop out, the GT-100 effects also have dry mix too.
The only effect I have noticed not quite suitable for bass is the Wah, as it's Q frequency is not quite in the right place.

I am absolutely LOVIN' the GT-100 and GT-001 for bass.
With the PHONES/LINE output selected, there is access to the MIC and CAB simulations.
Makes ALL the difference.
I use the NATURAL CLEAN preamp and setup the custom cabinets to access up to 8-15" speakers.
with PRE A & B running, i can have the bottom end with some 15" speakers and high-mid with 10" or 12".
since i have the GT-100 and GT-001, i have access to FOUR preamps. KICKS BUTT!
better than any pedal i've tried for bass.
add some graphic EQ in the FX2 slot - good lord!!!

Is any mod or setting available that can adjust the wah to the right freq for bass? The wah is actually something that I am interested in using, so hearing this is a big disappointment for me.
A topic I've seen mentioned elsewhere, and as such, I will repost a comment I made elswhere on this forum due to relevance and the extreme liklihood that BOSS is aware of this thread:
IMHO: Boss pulled the plug on the GT-10B once they got wind of the GT-100 being used for bass - a possible result of this forum, the only place I've ever seen this even being discussed in any detail online. Why would I think this? The 10B was on the market for way too short of a time, and since it has been quickly and quietly discontinued instead of being sold until its predecessor is released, I'd be willing to expect they are "starving the market" in advance of a GT-100B release. I consider the extremely odd discontinuation of the 10B to be the evidence of an impending GT-100B release. OR, Boss could simply fork/rebrand the GT-100 as a bass pedal if they provide fixes for some bass-specific annoyances like tuning and expression pedal issues. OR, BOSS could do what they did with the GR-55 and have it be for both guitar and bass by way of a specific "bass mode" feature. Regardless, think about what a windfall it would be for BOSS to make the discovery that the GT-100 is being used for bass (and the possible realization that the GT-100 might easily and quickly kill off the 10B if the word really got out). This just landed in their laps, and it would be stupid for them to pass this up. And I personally believe this is what they are up to.

News to me and maybe even to Boss that the plug has been pulled on the GT-10B? BOSS - GT-10B | Bass Effects Processor
It's becoming mutually agreed pretty much anywhere you go that this has recently occurred. It is common practice for manufacturers (as a courtesy) to refrain from announcing discontinuations until all partners have sold off all remaining stock. Expect this to remain the case until the new replacement model is introduced. In the mean time, go try to buy a new one. No longer available from GuitarCenter, MusiciansFriend, or any other site that would sell them new for standard pricing. Now all used and/or outrageously priced on Ebay and Amazon. Clearly in "collectors item" territory now. If that's not discontinued, then I don't know what is.

Weird then that Boss is not showing it as discontinued. Oh well...I'd sure like to see a combined product for bass and guitar that does both instruments justice (I much prefer the 10B for bass).
I only recently found this out when I originally set out to purchase a new GT-10B. And I agree. I'm hoping for a GT-100B. Even with a recent update, I think the GT-100 just isn't quite there yet.
There is no setting to adjust the Wah Q frequency on the GT-100, the GT-10/10B used to have a custom Wah where parameters were adjustable.
Each new product seems to get "dumbed down" with good features removed.
The GT-100 Wah's are not too bad for bass, but noticeably different when compared to the GT-10B
The GT-10B came along in 2009, so it's been 'out' for 7 years, not really a short time in consumer electronics.
The bass predecessor, the GT-6B was released in 2002, so 7 years between bass models of the GT, time is due for another one anyway.
The bass GT's are not big sellers compared to the guitar variant, as a guess 1:10 or more.
The GT-10B was excellent in effects, but I couldn't bond with it's preamps, the GT-100 preamps are much better, even though there are no bass specific models. The GT-6B had the best synth effect, since then the selection of parameters/settings have been reduced in that effect, until now it has been reduced to a vanilla 'wave synth'.
Lets hope the next GT-xxxB is a good one.. maybe with the SY-300 synth engine built in (polyphonic synths from mono jack input).
Hmmm, that's too bad about the GT-100 Wah, especially because I own one. I'm thinking that a new 10B replacement product release is eminent and that they are just starving the market. And I agree - the dumbing down of each proceeding product is very disheartening. But look at all the people who complain about having to read the manual and get to actually know a product anymore, we seem to be asking for it. We seem to be able to master any menu on our PCs or cell phones, but it seems to be too much to ask for guitar effects. Color me baffled.
Interesting comment about the SY-300. If a new product provided SY-300 capability, I'm fearing that it would come off as a cheap knockoff like the GT-100 V2 "MIDI" update did (totally useless - I think GT-100 customers were used as beta testers on that one). Now if they added Roland GR-55 functionality into the GT series instead of the SY-300 functionality (Invalid Link Removed), that would REALLY be an exciting "one product to rule them all"! I absolutely love my GR-55, it is the secret weapon in my "mad scientist" arsenal that allows me to play every other musical instrument under the sun thanks to its unlimited MIDI/DAW capabilities.

After much consideration about going with another option, I've decided that my BOSS multi-effects units just can't be beat when it comes to satisfying my mad scientist needs, especially with both the GT-100 and GR-55 having the added bonus of HD USB/digital out right into the DAW. Though I've used both of these for guitar until now, I'm excited to use them both for bass. Sometime in the future I'll come back and report how everything is going, good or bad.
The GT-100 and GR-55 is a good mix, I find though, that the combination is a little large for my pedal board.
Now if those two units could be combined into one, that would be a winner !!
