Great! I think that I will try it out and see. Thanks for the helpiPad and iPhone are the same, so if the GT-10/10B USB is set to "Standard driver mode" then it seems it may be class compliant, and not require a USB driver for the IOS device.

BOSS - Support - GT-10B - Owner's ManualsQuestion.... The "Master Tone "... How do I turn it off to just use the 10B as an effects board? I'm using an external eq box, so don't want tonal clutter.
Thanks in advance from Johannesburg, SA
ok..its packed away from gig..let me drag it out.Yeah, I've read it cover to cover, and unless I'm missing something...
You are a scholar and a gentleman. I understand that effectively setting it all at 12 o'clock is setting it is "off"... but I would like to know if there is an actual off that allows for this to be "just an effects" boardok..its packed away from gig..let me drag it out.
That sounds like a plan - I will try that out this evening (I'm at work here in South Africa)first of all you can control the individual patchs by setting their tone controls at zero..then click system--input/output--enter--clk right arrow to tab #2---set the gains at zero...clk exit
Thats it its flat..individual patches and effects have their own tone controls..
No there is No OFF as such..but the above simple operation is the same..any Preset Patches you access from the program will have tone controls..You would have to save them to the User patches. and can then change anything, and save it as a patch,That sounds like a plan - I will try that out this evening (I'm at work here in South Africa)
Many thanks @cflat
Thank you, very, very much for the input - it is greatly appreciated! No there is No OFF as such..but the above simple operation is the same..any Preset Patches you access from the program will have tone controls..You would have to save them to the User patches. and can then change anything, and save it as a patch,
My Pleasure,,have a wonderful day!Thank you, very, very much for the input - it is greatly appreciated!
Hey Gum!If you want all preamps "off" on all patches, select one of the 3 global preamps, and switch if "off".
This will now over-ride all patch preamps to be "off" and effectively bypassed for effects only.
It looks to me what he means is this...clk system--control--enter--(first tab is sys knob setting)you will see knob P1-2-3 are set to master: There does not seem to be an Off though..Hey Gum!
How are things down under mate?
This is going to sound completely dummy - and I guess it is - but where would I find the 3 global preamps?
