When the LD50 of ricin appears to be in the region on 2 ug/kg (~0.001 mg/lb), the small vial would be more than enough to take out a few folk! Granted, that is through injection, would need ~10x as much for inhalation and ~10,000x as much for oral consumption.

I'm horrible at math, so does that mean someone would have to eat one pound or ten pounds for a lethal dose?

I know I can't be even close to correct and I hope not, because I can't imagine sneaking a pound of that into a burrito like Walt tried on that wacko Tuco. He had maybe a couple of grams.

Anyway, it looked like a couple of grams. It's been awhile since I've seen grams of powdered anything.

Having said that, if you happen to have purified ricin, like our heroes do after Walt prepares it, then a dose about the size of a grain of salt could be enough to kill someone
