Right. And I can't tell if he's just that socially savvy and planning ahead with some of these emotions.
He sure didn't feel bad about killing the kid on the bike.
"Complex" is a good word for it.
He seems like a sociopath. Acting in ways he thinks might win him the appreciation of others or what he thinks is the right decision, without actually caring about the outcome.
I wonder (if Todd lives) what kind of a spinoff that could be and whom it would appeal to.

Yup...sociopath. Although I think he does have connections with certain people. Jack,Walt,Jesse.
At Hanks death I believe he was moved to a tiny tear for the sight of Walt walt breaking down so animately.
Andrea's death was so awesomely cold,nonchalant. And Jesse juxtaposing torturous wail.... Awesome!

I enjoyed the episode and the jokes dedicated to the show. The fact that they had the mexican band from Season 2 that did the Ballad of Heisenberg. Them tossing blue "meth" into the audience at the end and Tito blowing up the studio was a nice touch.
Yeah, that was cool. I got the impression that Conan and his staff writers are genuine fans.
I missed it and it's not on my On Demand menu yet.

Just watched Granite State a 2nd time. Awesome. In Walt's twisted mind he got screwed in the Gray Matter business deal (and there's whatever happened between Gretchen & Walt). Now Elliot and Gretchen go on TV to say Walt contributed nothing to the success of Gray Matter besides the clever name. Walt has always held a grudge and now they've publicly dissed him and his still-oversized ego can't stand that.
I love that the writers brought Gray Matter back in. Never anticipated that but it fits perfectly.

We still don't know what happened between the brothers and father. He might have gotten screwed. He was forced somehow.

I wonder if we'll even have the lose ends tied up. We could end up with Jesse and Walt being killed off, the Nazi's still running the drugs and whatnot.
A face slap of an anticlimax, just to say that things would just keep going on as they had before.
Not likely I guess, but an interesting possibility. I hope the last episode isn't rushed, it just seems like there is potentially a lot of stuff that could do with being covered (though again, they don't need to cover all the ends, which can be a great way to finish a show, leaving people to ponder certain parts without them being explained).

Vince Gilligan said the ending would be "divisive" I think. I say That likely means that only one of Jesse or Walt survives. I'm thinking Jesse walks away with the cash and looks after Brock. Poor guy deserves it.
