I was losing it when they used "Windy" for that opening sequence.
My GF was wondering what I thought was so funny...I recall seeing The Association's 'music' video for "Windy" many years ago (was probably on some '60s Variety Show my parents tuned into; still, I was pissed that it went away from showing the band....instead, there's a montage of "the '60s girl next door" prancing about town).
Check it out on youtube. IMO, it makes BB's montage of Wendy even more funny.

There is a scene with Jesse cooking with Badger playing with 2 beakers (one per breast)...Fujiya & Miyagi's "Uh" is the tune in the background.
This Season: Badger's Star Trek scipt is funny (maybe you need to be a Star Trek nerd...I dunno).
There is webisode with Badger & Walt...they're attempting to break into Walt's neighbor's garage for a vaccuum cleaner (sold by Skyler, Walt has a lotta cash hidden in it). After Walt's overly analytical attempts to pick the lock, Badger discovers the key is under the mat.
Pretty much any scene with Badger (& Sneaky Pete) is gold.

A lotta Saul's comments are comic-
Example:
"...the DEA's hard-on for you has now reached Uncle Miltie proportions".

The latest episode, "Granite State":
"...best case scenario: In 30 days, I'm managing a Cinnabon in Omaha".

Before killing Gale - "Crapa Pelada" that song fits the character perfectly and it{s hilarious when he sings it.

Also, Gale's video for "Major Tom (Coming Home)" is good...the entire videio is an extra on that Season's BD set.

DESERVES IT?!?!?

Jesse is a rat. He ratted on the whole operation. He is weak. He is the lowest form of human there is.

He couldn't just shutup and be happy with his millions of dollars, he had to go and get all stupid with it.

If he ends up with Walt's money, he'll be dead within a few months, needle hanging out of his arm.

He deserves exactly what he's getting right now.

You may be seeing things in a different light than some others.
Sure, he may have ratted. Some may see that as the right thing to do.
He's harboring a lot of guilt, brought on by a business that he was roped into, by Walt. Walt never let Jesse walk away when he wanted to.
Its been pretty apparent that Jesse hasnt been using drugs (Other than weed & alcohol) I highly doubt he'd end up od'ing on heroin.
You really think Jesse deserves to be beaten & tortured into teaching the neo-nazis how to cook higher quality meth?

Oh yeah, I did forget about that. I dont think he was using for long. And it was meth, not heroin.
He was basically forced clean at the next moment, after being stopped by Hank. He crashed at Hank's pad, gave his confession, and then ended up out in the desert which has brought him to his current situation. Unless the neos are giving him a bump here and there.

He is weak. And vulnerable. And young and stupid.

He has also been used, manipulated, and exploited for his weakness, mainly by Walter White.

If not for Walter, Jesse would have stayed petty, small-time. Instead, he was thrust into the world of kingpins.

I sympathize with the character. Sure he's acting irrationally and hazardously now. He's way out of his element, as he has been for most of the series. He doesn't even have the capacity to react and change to a better course on the fly, like Walter does.

Let's not forget how Walt and Jesse got started...Walt saw him escaping the DEA who were raiding his cooking operation! He was not roped in, he was already in.

Jesse could have taken his money and walked any time he wanted to. In fact, Walt dropped a bag full of money at his feet and left it up to him to decide what to do.

Jesse was small time, and not likely to become anything of a drug kingpin. He was dealing to/with low lifes and thugs, not professional criminals. He'd not even had been a blip on Fring's radar. Walt is the one who pushed him.

No, Walt never would have let him walk. In fact, he didnt. That was all manipulation. Walt's been playing Jesse like a puppet the entire show.
Walt dropped that money there knowing that Jesse wouldnt walk. Jesse took that money and scattered it in the streets.

Jesse is no saint.

That being said, I've been watching the marathon off and on for most of the day. Walt manipulates him from the get go. So many things are out of his (Walt's) control before he starts cooking; his students find him boring, their grades are bad, he has to work part-time for Mr. Brows to make ends meet, etc.

His first real show of his newfound power (IIRC) was went the family was shopping for pants and the jocks made fun of Walter Jr., Heisenberg got physical.

Walt controls Jesse from day one and after Jesse gets disowned by his own parents, Walt becomes a father figure. A strict father figure. But at times they act like brothers. It's a weird relationship, but Walt was manipulating him like crazy through the whole series.
