Breaking Bad coming back

The cinematography, camera work, and attention to detail has been really impressive. Anyone who says it can't be done on TV is dead wrong.

I once happened upon a Spielberg bio on TV...his early TV work (late '60s) had a certain look. It had a movie/cinema vibe...but it was a weekly TV show.
Anyway, agree with you.

Reality Shows going away?
Don't hold your breath. TV, like music...it's all about quantity over quality.
:)

I know man. This trend feels like it's been going on an eternity.

Network TV sucks. It's nothing but reality shows, competitions, lame comedies, and wimpy dramas (for the most part). But cable TV has really stepped up (AMC, HBO, FX, Showtime, even Netflix). To me the future looks good as long as you avoid the major networks. I think TV has never been better if you know where to look.

Yes! TV shows like BB have set the quality bar very very high. There's enough good ones out there that there's no need to waste viewing time on crap like Bones or CSI (the latter of which I used to like but it now puts me to sleep). Most feature films including big action blockbusters are CRAP in comparison to TV like BB.

The best TV these days is degenerate cartoonage.

Also Mountain Men and Pawn Stars is cool. Duck Dynasty is watchable too.

Breaking Bad used to be okay. So did Sons of Anarchy. Both jumped the shark a long time ago IMO. The new Game of Thrones will be out soon. Can't imagine that sucking too bad.

...anyone catch the SNL spoof last night with Aaron Paul (as Jessie)?
At the end of his bit, he asked if anyone wanted to know how things turned out for his sick friend (Walter)...everyone went "Nooooooooooo".
