Breaking Bad coming back

The show is dumb on a certain level. So many, "yah rights".
Like the Lidia attack on the desert meth lab. How could they get anything like a drop on those guys? They would have seen them coming MILES off.

The very premise of the show is kind of dumb. A high teacher becomes a drug lord while his brother in law is head of the local DEA? Absurd! But it never stopped me! :p

Lidia and Todd ,,, all I'm saying.

*** SPOILER ALERT! ***

Here's what we know:

  • The business was left to Lydia who was running it over Declan
  • Declan and his crew are now out of play thanks to Lydia, Todd, his uncle, and his buddies.
  • There is now an acute meth vacuum in town

I just watched the episode in Season 1 where he threw an exploding crystal in the drug dealer's apartment.

Man, this show!

That's my favorite scene not just because it was badass but because it was a major turning point for Walt.

Too bad Mythbusters debunked it. Not only would the amount he used not have had the impact it did, but if it did they would have all been killed lol

Well, I've always said, we need a lot more reality in our shows about school teachers with DEA Brothers-in-Law who become successful Meth dealers after getting cancer.

:D Yeah, Vince Gilligan pretty much just answered that with "artistic license" for every one that they debunked.

Ive done elaborate makeup costumes in the past #nofun #cleaningupsucks

Is something like Gus' injury even possible to do with make up? Giving the illusion of a blown out eye socket with the moving muscle possible? I figured they just CGI'd it..which they probably did.

For Halloween Im going to shave my head (I did it last year for Bane) and chop my beard to a goatee, get a lab coat and respirator and be Walter White.
Im going to hand out blue rock candy in little baggies to all the children.

At least until the police show up.

Hmmm ... I like this idea. My goatee is heavier now and I wear glasses. All I need is a porkpie hat.

I do think it was a mix of makeup and CGI.

Double rockin it! Ive got a beard I can trim to a proper goat. I have a felt porkpie I can use, I just need to get Walt style glasses or try and pass off my thicker framed ones.
The most fun will be passing out baggies of blue rock candy and watching parents freak out. Unless theyre fans of the show, I think they might get a kick out of it.

IIRC, Season_4 BD set...Bonus Features > The Death of Gus
The Walking Dead F/X people did Gus' death mask. I think they said some CGI was also used.

EDIT-
It's on Disc_3 of Season_4 Blu-Ray-
> Inside the Explosive Finale
A detailed examination of the making of the season's shockingly gruesome kill shot, with an hour-by-hour look at the process of the shoot leading up to the making of the finished scene, including Esposito's preparation for the moment, creating a heavily-damaged room, prepping for the explosion visual, makeup effects, final preparations, the multiple takes necessary to get everything just right, and polishing the end product in post-production.

Disc_1/Season_4 Bonus includes this little 4:18 nugget-
> Gale's Karaoke Video (entire song)

I have this prediction stuck in my head for the end of the show: Walt will end up like Hector "Tio" Salamanca. Very sick from the cancer or other "events", stuck in a wheelchair, living in a nursing home or hospice. His family is probably either dead or they left. Jesse dead or in prison. Hank and Marie, who knows. Saul has all the money and visits Walt once a month and pays Walt's bills. And fade...

Wow, that's a GREAT prediction! Would make one hell of an ending, that's for sure.
