Hank hasn't been the same since El Paso.
The crystals are just something to keep his mind off of getting better and having to work again.

So, you think Hank is a useless lump of dejected flesh, and it's just a coincidence that knowledge of crystals and their formation is paramount in the manufacturing of crystal meth.
Watch both Hank and Skyler take on some new and powerful proportions this season.
I'm not sticking a fork in Hank though.
If anything, this series is anything but predictable.
Did you see the change in Jesse after seeing what Gus did?
Breaking Bad is awesome in its unpredictability. The look on Mike's face when Gus was taking care of Victor was priceless. Mike's seen just about everything but he wasn't prepared for that! And do not count out Hank yet.

I still haven't seen it. I'm afraid to ask, but...what do you mean "taking care of" Victor?
EDIT: Just read the synopsis. Nevermind. Whew!

Yeah, that scene was a bit over the top, but as a plot device it goes to show just how serious Gus is about his "business". And as Jesse noted afterward over his delicious Dennys breakfast, "We're all on the same page".![]()
I dont think it was over the top at all. It was very intense, and threw us for a loop maybe. I kept waiting the whole time for some ill fate to befall Walt or Jesse. Rather, though, it was Victor, and rightfully so, as he could have been identified by anyone at the murder scene.
MatticusMania said:LOL, yes, it was a pretty graphic scene, for sure!
Just the sound effects for the scene freaked me out. All the blood running and splashing to the floor sounded like some one turned on a hose for a few seconds.
I NEED to get my TV back from Fontana so I can get cable again! NOW!! fArgh!
electracoyote said:It actually topped the Walt double-assasination scene from last season.
The boxcutter scene was pretty graphic. I wonder how far the censors will let them go?
