So Gus' strategy of making Jesse a "hero" has me scratching my head. It just doesn't make much sense (yet).
I'm surprised Skyler didn't make any effort to shut Walt up when he got drunk and started blabbing to Hank about how he thinks "Heisenberg" is still alive.
Umm... What about the dude in the basement in the first season, that Jesse disolved his body in the tub upstairs (and disolved the tub itself).I think Mike is going to teach Jesse how to handle his first murder.
Agree 100%. Gives Jesse a 'mission' to focus on, instead of eating himself up about killing Gale, as well as drive a wedge between Walter & Jesse that Gus can use. Remember, the biggest altercations between Walter and Gus have been over Walter's loyalty to Jesse. Divide and conquer.Gus is a big picture kind of guy. Having Jesse feel like he serves a purpose (helping Mike out of a jam) does two things:
1) Gets Jesse back on track to where he was before killing Gale - post rehab Jesse.
2) Shows Jesse that he is not just Walter's whipping boy.
I disagree 100%. Walter has shown throughout the series that he's got some low self-esteem. He's always talked himself up when he's had the chance. He's HATED people taking credit for his work and been quick to steer away from that type of misconception.I think that the reason for Walter's on goings about "Heisenberg" was done more out of keeping Skyler in check than feeding his own ego.
Actually, the renewed interest in the case is probably going to be the turning point for Hank and Marie's marriage to get things back on track. The difference in Hank's attitude (Apologetic for making a mess with the files, actually thanking her and treating her respectfully) is most likely an indicator that Hank is out of his slump and ready to fight to get himself back together. I wouldn't be surpised to see him start pushing himself hard to get out of the chair and back on his feet.Besides, who doesn't want to see Hank cross over to the dark side after his divorce![]()

Jesse didn't kill anybody before Gale. He was going to kill the two street dealers for killing the kid but Walter did that before he had the chance to.

I think that the reason for Walter's on goings about "Heisenberg" was done more out of keeping Skyler in check than feeding his own ego. By Walter bringing Hank back into the picture keeps everybody from feeling too comfortable to the point they make mistakes.

Really like that they spent some quality time on Gus Fring's backstory.
