Breaking up the Family (EBMM content)

The sad day has arrived, where I had to break up my loving family of EBMM basses. The Bongo just left, and I am wrestling with who goes on the chopping block next. Stingray was a gift from my wife, and is safe. Next up Sabre or Big Al?

Good point. Stingray is by far the easiest to replace, probably followed by the SB14. Doubt wife would notice the missing Stingray.

Definitely unload the SB-14. I'd get rid of the Al on styling alone but that's a personal preference.

I'd keep the Al and the Sabre and get rid of the Stingray. The Sabre bridge gives enough of the classic "stingray sound" and the stingray will be the easiest to reacquire if you ever wanted.

Keep the Big Al! I don't even think EBMM makes those anymore. Trash the Sterling and whatever that 5 stringer is. Keep the others.

Yea, selling other stuff to hopefully minimize the damage.

The red one is the foreign model version (SB14). Really great bass, but as posted earlier, probably the first to go.
