Hey there Brian,

I just discovered your Bass on the Broadband radio station. Love it!!!
Great idea.
I like the well thought out ideas that you had Carvin put into your line of basses.
Now all I have to do is decide what wood, color, configuration I would like.
And do I want a 4 string or 5 string.
Decisions, decisions....
Keep up the great work/playing.
You truly are an inspiration and down to earth.

Sorry if this is outta line to post here, sadly, I have to move the Bromberg 5 I just picked up.
Job loss etc.....i have it priced pretty darn good here in the classifieds.....

After a LONG absence from the bass world, I'm back into it again.

This monster arrived yesterday, and I'm absolutely blown away by it!

I've owned 3 Roscoes (including one that was custom built to my OCD specifications), an Elrick NJS5, 7 Laklands, 4 or 5 Warwicks, a Modulus Q5, and a ton of Fenders. I can say without hesitation that my new Bromberg B25S is every bit as good as any of the above. It sounds amazing, plays better than almost anything I can remember, and I can't find a flaw on it.

Carvin and Brian really deserve all the credit I can give, because this thing is just amazing. I'm ordering a fretless as soon as I can decide how I'm going to configure it.

I can definitely agree with that.

It's like Brian built a bass for me, not him. Haha. On my particular model, the dots and the frets are the only things I would've changed. Of course, I didn't have it built, so I can't complain! It's ridiculously easy to play, it's gorgeous to look at, and I love the way it sounds. I'm a bridge pickup guy, and it nails the tone I've always been trying to get.

The other thing that can't be overstated is the balance of the thing. Carvin says mine weighs 10.6 pounds, but it feels like half of that on a strap. Usually, my fretting hand gets fatigued and starts to fall asleep after about an hour and a half of solid playing. Not so with the B25S... I played standing up for about 2 hours yesterday, and felt absolutely ZERO fatigue. That's a big deal for not touching the instrument on a regular basis for over 2 years.

That is a beautiful bass you got there....seeing the list of what you own/owned, looks like a new custom B25 will be in your future? BTW, I once owned a stunning buckeye burl Roscoe SKB that the pickups were routed about 3/8th off center. If I wanted to swap to pickups with pole pieces, they didn't line up with the strings....not happy! I did say owned, that's past tense. Very inexcusable...my opinion of course.

Definitely a fretless B25 in my future. Just don't know how I'm gonna spec it!

I LOVED my Roscoes, and I miss them dearly... But after finding the B25, I'm wondering if I'd ever spend that much on a bass again. Carvin is charging half of what these basses are worth.

Piezo bridge
Strap locks since I recently had my strap come off a guitar horn for the first time since I started playing bass in 1972

I went with a blue and gold theme in commemoration of my US Navy career (retired Chief). It would have been nice to be able to get a gold bridge, but that's not possible with the piezo feature (or maybe not possible at all, I'm not sure).

Carvin only offers black Hipshot bridges. However, with the regular bridges, you can choose between black, chrome, or gold string saddles. I'm unsure if this is an option for the piezo bridge, but I would ask. For my Icon with no piezo, I chose chrome.

I knew I was saying that wrong.

I got the non-S version, and I understand that they use only the Hipshot bridge on that model. And that's why they won't put a piezo on an S, since they use a different bridge on the S and the Hipshot is necessary for the piezo.

Or so I was told. I think.
