Brian Cornwell and Buzzards Bass Shop

Actually, its everyones business since this is a public forum...

Anyway, youre going to honestly sit there and post saying he was really arrested out of nowhere and put in jail for 30 days and lost all of his property?

Come on...

Actually, it's not everyone's business just because its a public forum. Someone's personal life is their own unless they personally care to share it with you. It's not my place to. Public records might help you for things you REALLY want to know.

My only reason for posting is to say that ordering from his site right now won't yield any results. I'd wait until his site gets another update before he's open for business again. That's the only thing that matters to this forum (and especially this section).

Since he made it public himself, it is anyones business. Youre saying hes a great guy but wont even touch anythign involving his story.

His story was that he was in jail for 30 days (which happened), lost all of his belongings (which happened for about a year, he later went and retrieved them after he was allowed to from another court appearance). His phone number was taken off the site because he no longer lived at the address for the one that was there. He did give the new number to customers that needed to speak with him. All of that is a year and a half old. It doesn't have much to do with the current situation.

If you don't believe why he was in jail, look up the public record of his court appearances and see for yourself, it's not my job to do it for you. Anyone can.

What happend to him that long ago is still VERY relevant. From what ive seen things have been downhill since then. He pretty much said he got thrown in jail all the sudden out of nowhere for no reason. Stuff like that doesnt just happen. Sure he may have suddenly put in jail but not without his knowledge of it coming. Seems like he just tried to avoid it and it backfired. What he does in his personal life isnt anyone business until it pours over into other things that invilve the public, which it has. Theres nothign wrong in questioning this guy and his intentions based on his history.

I accidentally came across is web site a month ago. When I contacted him and asked about his credentials, his response was pretty defensive. I didn't take things any further. I had no idea all this was going on in his life. Sounds like his life is on downhill free fall. To bad if he is actually a talented dude that has fallen on some hard times. I did love his web site it's awesome.

Here's my problem. He took my order, said the order was placed (not true), and I even received an e-mail saying the items were shipped (again, not true). In addition, the one, albeit snarky, e-mail reply I did get from him!

He got arrested? Not surprised! Boo Hoo! Just give me my money back! I don't have to put up with his nonsense!

i dont recall where getting arrested makes lying acceptable..

placed an order for a bunch of parts a couple days ago, THEN I found this thread. emailed him just to ask when I can expect shipment, just to be safe and not jump to conclusions. if i dont hear from him in a day i'll dispute it with paypal, only because i really need these parts. i'll post any follow ups.

I like to think of myself as extremely easy-going an approachable. About a year ago, I emailed him about having a headstock painted to match a body and have a custom decal applied and clear coated over. In a span of 3 hours, he sent me 3 emails. The first one said it's really not worth his time or effort (even though he had about 6 such examples of him doing this exact work on his website), but if I HAD to have it done, he'd do it for X amount of dollars. His second email, explained yet again what a pain in the ass doing this was, and that he'd have to charge me even more for it. Also, he pointed out several times that my shipping box for the neck had to be an exact size, or he wouldn't accept the delivery, nor would he use one of his boxes to ship it back. His third email, which arrived not even an hour later, asked me, QUOTE "so do you want this done or not??" and was extremely confrontational.

It should be mentioned that I saw all three of these emails at the same time. Horrified, I sent him an email askingif this was some kind of joke. Needless to say, I told him what I thought of him and his business, and he didn't see a cent of my money. Judging by what I'm reading on here, I made a sound decision.

I really hope everything is ok with this gentleman.
