See ya!I don’t care for it at all, seems way more cumbersome, not interested in trying to figure it out, this is the only time I’ve engaged in a post, honestly with all the “silly “ pointless post that go on anymore, it’s time to move on,

Yet you are still here complaining about it.I don’t buy a new car that I don’t like.
I don’t pay for subscriptions to things I don’t like, so TB is no longer a desirable thing for me.
Where are the dark options? Care to share?OK, I found the "dark" options, so now at least the page isn't screaming white at my face.
Bottom of the page, there's a sliding switch.Where are the dark options? Care to share?
I’m paying the cost to post.Yet you are still here complaining about it.
Cool! Thanks for that. Never thought about it, but I believe I like the dark background better.Bottom of the page, there's a sliding switch.
What is this "Achievement" nonsense? I feel like I'm being patted on the head for...nothing, really.I personally don't see any improvement what so ever with the new format. What problem is this new format a solution for?
Well, when you put it like that....Survival is awarded to the most adaptable. As technology continues to change at an accelerated pace, luddites will complain and perish while the adaptable will survive. Resistance is futile.
I appreciate when change is necessary. I am finding the new format awkward to navigate. That may just be familiarity with what was before, but I find I have to make more keystrokes to get to the particular forum to review threads than before. To me, that is a step backwards, not forwards.
I think they had something similar in the previous TB iteration as well. Something like "Posts liked 50 times" etcWhat is this "Achievement" nonsense? I feel like I'm being patted on the head for...nothing, really.
I'm sure if we got rid of the old stuff, it'd soon be replaced by the same questions, complaints, P-worship, etc.If you could choose for yourself between these two:
1) Access to All TalkBass content from its beginning until today.
or
2) Access only to All future TalkBass content from today onwards.
On which would you place the higher valuation?
So, does it make more sense for TB to focus limited funds in carrying forward its massive database with needed foundational software platform updates or into making a whiz-bang online forum with an ideal user experience to attract the best new content and content creators.
Update the database first, then honor the fine players and posters who made and make TB a terrific and vital forum.
Same. I didn't like the dark theme for the previous site but I think I prefer the dark theme for the current one.Cool! Thanks for that. Never thought about it, but I believe I like the dark background better.
haha that's pretty much the perfect distillation of living in the age of social media. What is this "Achievement" nonsense? I feel like I'm being patted on the head for...nothing, really.
Agreed. That would be nice. I believe it's been suggested to the site admins. The one thing I wish is that the crack button, er new posts button, floated with the banner at the top of the page and I didn't have to scroll up to get to it. Small problem.
