He was banned for a month. That was on April 27. So, he'll be back in less than two weeks.

Y'know, this thread reminds me of something that happened when I was teenager. Me and my group of friends were standing around talking about one of our group who had been sentenced to juvie for a few months. After a while, someone asked, "Why are we talking about Chuck all the time? Can't we find anything else that's interesting to talk about?"

Sure, it's fun to have Maki around; but, he's not TB. As much as I like the guy, I think OT is plenty of fun, even though he's not around right now. It may be a little less sexual around here, but it's fun nonetheless.

Here's an interesting question: What does Maki bring to OT that's missing in his absence? What is it that you miss about him being here?

(You guys know that I consider Maki a friend and that we are often partners in crime around here. But, I think it would be interesting to know why you miss him so much. Thanks!)

Oh, and... Lips. Two sets. 'Nuff said!

The thread title made me think of Justin Timberlake:

"I'm bringing Maki back
Them other posters don't know how to act
I miss his Asian threads and lack of tact
So turn around and give him one more crack
(Take it to the bridge...)"

:hiding:

The fact that you knew that song well enough to make that parody has just caused to to violate untold numbers of Man Laws. In Maki's honor, leave your man card at the door on your way out :D

Dude, I don't even see a glimpse of a similarity there!
Really, a trouble stirrer who usually hung out in OT more than any other forum and caused a lot of hassle for the mods who finally got banned and a whole bunch of people rallied around to protest his banning and to bring him back.

Who am I talking about?

Money is the original. Maki is the Money for n00bs. ;) :D

his posts and zaniness were a great alternative to the ever-present gun debates and "vitriol".

To elaborate, I like this site a lot. Especially the OT, and we all bring something to it even if just an infinitesmal (sp?) amount. It is us.
I'm sure some of his posts pushed the limit of good taste or even exceeded it, but I find that I'd rather laugh with friends than argue with strangers. Just my own opinion.
