Fair enough, but I'm comparing this to the previous episodes we've seen and the standards set by them. I feel they could do better...it all just seemed rather rushed and not up to par with their usual stuff. I could understand having some meh episodes during the body of the season, but an opener should have been stronger than that one....WAY stronger.

Just felt pretty let down

There was a TON of new material introduced in the episode, thus much of it was rushed. We got a new villain, a new area (crystal kingdom), a new race of sorts, the Crystal Fair, and much more. Hard to flesh out so much material in 40 minutes. They did a fantastic job, all things considered.

This thoroughly confuses me. Listening to the lyrics, I'm about 80% sure it can't be part of the show, yet it was on the commercials. Stupidly catchy though...

I don't think they're trolling, Maki's just showing his bewilderment at our "mancard violations" and sneha does tons of photoshopping. The brawny brony pic is actually quite amusing.

Even if they are trolling, I'm past caring. I'm not defensive about enjoying a show, and they've got problems anyway if they seriously judge someone because they watch a cartoon.

No trolling for me. Just thought it would be funny but maybe the joke is on me? Yes, I love to do photoshops and have a thread of Kwesi and several others. When I saw this thread I thought it would be a fit. I'm not so sure now. But no harm intended on my side of the fence. I'll try to follow in the shadows for why my post would have been a foul because I obviously don't know the Brony rules.
