I loved the irony in the new episode when Applejack just used "yup" and "nope" while Big Macintosh got the big line.
Bronies are fans of the newest incarnation of the show My Little Pony. Yup. It's exactly what it sounds like. Contrary to popular belief, most of us are pretty normal though.
On a related note, the first season is now available for instant viewing on Netflix. Or we're going to be the pissed off victims of an awesome April Fool's Day prank.
Can someone who actually has Netflix check?
A brony is an older, generally male fan of the My Little Pony franchise. It was sparked by the G4 show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which has superb animation and writing. The term "brony" is the amalgamation of the words "bro" and "pony"
Okay, cool. I had no idea they brought My Little Pony back... that seems kind of weird that an older male subculture has sort of formed around it, but hey. I've seen and heard weirder.

Also 3 of the main characters have had an episode of mental instability at some point.
Yeah, the typical reaction is that they judge us based on what they think the show is like...whereas if the judged the show based on us (I mean, we're bassists, come on!) they would probably end up fans or at least respecting it after a while.
It takes a refined palette and security in one's self to become an open fan. I gotta give cred to the high school guys that are Bronies...that takes some serious balls. *brohoof to the teen bronies*

I can confirm the season 1 of FiM is now on Netflix, having already watched 3 episodes.
Kind of random, I know, but I don't know if you guys have seen some of the voice actor's various forms of communication with the fans or not. The most notable,and respecting, is the one that Claire has (she does the voice of Sweetie Belle). It's a youtube vlog, but she talks about a lot of stuff in her personal life and isn't super centered around her role in MLP.
She's a random and funny kid though, and she does fan Q&A's from time to time. Anyhow, here's a link:
