Am going through this now, the Fender (I think, they have light green thread in the windings) flats that came with the P Bass I just got don't feel as good as I thought they would. Hard to describe, too slick, kinda of solid feeling like metal straws. I can't articulate this...
Anyway, looking for something with the same amount of fight these strings have but with a little more feel. I'd try the Tomastiks but from what I've read they might not be taut enough for my way of playing. LaBellas?
