That's kind of a big deal, I mean kicking the Noble off, I have been curious about the Khan. Will follow up once I get my westinghouse, I like the idea of being able to adjust the voltage going to the tube, seems like it could be fun.

Seriously I never turn mine off, I feel its more on the vintage side of things, but even then it sounds great with "progressive" playing/setup. Not noisy at all, set it and forget it type of pedal

I do have a Studio One. But the simplified boost seems like a good idea in this particular moment.

I would still do stupid things for a S1, but I definitely sleep better now I have a SB, and you're right its simple and to the point, and like the Solarian it has a Level, I'm not to fond of the boost with one nOb

Locust Star finally becoming available soon. I gave up and went with an Aftershock a month ago. I still want a Locust Star. And I know this is sacrilege around here, but not sure I need a Locust Star. Someone convince me why I do or do not need a LS please. (And the fact that it is a Broughton, while convincing, is not convincing enough - I'll duck to avoid the lightning now)

The LS is best RAT on the market. It's also a contender for best bass dirt on the market, IMO.

I just traded my LS for a Sushi Box Deep Dish compressor. I might end up buying another one some day, but in general I think the Rat sound is just not my sound. That being said, it’s the most flexible Rat-based pedal I’ve used and I was able to coax sounds out of it that I enjoyed.

I might try dipping my toes into the Darkglass pool before I buy another Rat-like circuit tho. The SA Aftershock is also intriguing.

I was the same way with the LM308 stuff, I ended up using it to lightly the chip probably wasn't even doing anything. I seem to veer toward the blueberry side of things myself

I guess buy when in stock (if I can get so lucky), and I can always sell/trade which ever one I decide I don't want to keep.

I've barely broken the surface with the Aftershock. I've not delved into the whole programming world with it.
