Broughton Audio Super Thread

They're all dead sir..

But alas, Broughton has had a octave up for a few years now, á La Sunder Fuzz!!

Analog octave ups are hard to create, 3leaf MK3 was rumored to be one that was a no go. Octave up would be better for bass anyway, down gets so messy below 80hz

Love the Sunder. Cuts through the mix because of it. PLL too but you need a doctorate in audio navigation to utilize that thing identically twice in a row. I always assumed that’s the reason Josh never did a dedicated type pedal like I’ve wanted. Digital octave up is the only way to go and I believe the reproduction would just be another generic sorta offering due to the limitations.

It's possible to isolate the octave up with a few filters after the pedal, it sounds pretty neat. But a true blue clean octave up, and down, would be really fun. I've never tried any of the "others" either, not a big fan of digi but the Meris Hedra can do some really cool things

i want that pladask delay but made by josh

cascadinf echos if crushing bass

Josh hasn't done anything that wild has he? I'm no delay connoisseur but the pladask Taken delay is the most beautiful I have heard. I use it for guitar a lot. I like to set it with that oscillating sheen, but not quite oscillating. Josh would also make it small w top jacks. The one side jacks on that one are pretty weird, but it is an incredible pedal. I think he's about to do another drop of Draume verb and maybe more Feber ring mod (it's so much more than a ring mod).

I already have that one lol. Kind of gets into distortion territory with the gain up, and not quite as sharp and bitey as I’d like. Still one of my favourites though.

I’d suggested a Broughton take on the OCD a while back… a BroughCD, if you will. That’d be dope.

A Broughton OCD would be killer. I have heard that the Dunwich makes some significant changes to the design, but I LOVE the ODB...I could only imagine what Josh could do with an OCD. His dirts are so excellent on bass.

I’M A GOOBUS!

Some thing awesome and pink showed up today. Thank you to the folks who helped me get this gnarly sweet pink fuzzy little dude. I couldn’t have done it without the help from some good folks and some good pedal karma. Feeling the flow. you gotta harvest the good energy and block out the bad. Harvest energy, block bad. Feel the flow, feel it, it’s circular. Its like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse, and you go up and down and around ….
