Thanks Nate. I was seriously leaning towards the Spitfire Tort P/g but I think that would be better with a R/W neck so I went mint green for now.
How do you like playing it with the pickup cover on there? I have a set of bridge and pickup covers for my fender P, but I’ve never committed to actually mounting them. I love the look but I feel like they would get in the way of how I like to play

I have a '63 P and I feel the same. I ended up keeping the bridge one on but every now and then I want to do palm mutes and it prevents it. That's not too often though..

I've got a 62 FCS journeyman relic jazz I took the covers off of and they are staying off.

I have two other basses that have the covers on and they are staying on because I like the way they look to be honest.

The way I play, the covers don't get in the way too much, it's just more of a weight issue and the basses that have them on stay home while the one that does not have them on gets played out and taken places.

Synth Voice Deluxe in the classifieds.

NA, but it is a familiar face from these parts, LOL

Totally affiliated. And if my price is off base, feel free to let me know, humans. I frankly didn’t do any research on past sales/pricing. So hopefully that’s a good, fair guess on my part…

I really can’t get totally comfortable with the P tray on but I love the look.
I use the bridge cover a lot on my ‘73 P and then I can stuff a piece of foam between the cover and the strings and remove it really quickly. Can’t do that with the bridge on the LPB so I’ll run it with no covers for the most part. I tend to use the area right over the P P/up a lot so that cover gets in my way.
