RFE into Messenger Jr, but there's a twist...

RFE -> LBA 2020S -> Mess Jr. (XLR) -> LBA 2020

Then, the cherry on top? A Studio Boost Mini or OE DCX in front of it all. Sweetest sounds I've heard yet out of my rig. RFE&Jr. 15v, SBM/DCX 9v, but YMMV.

Utilizing the Jr's XLR Out allows for boost and cut from the Jr. What a great pedal for clean tone!

12 hours later and there are still 24 available. Seems to bode well for price discovery and future availability.

It was kind of a weirder ride to (hopefully) get to where Josh's regular releases have ended up (13 SKUs currently in stock and available).

...this is all excluding the 5/31 Super Stack drop and impending Sunray bloodbath, of course.

I used my BR always-on HPF for the first time, unmiced at a big backyard party yesterday. In the EFX loop of my GK 400RB, with one Ampeg 112svt, I dialed it up until I could just hear it start to barely cut the bass. Then, turned up to band level, my P bass played loud, clear and PHAT with no strain. Another bass player got up and played a few songs while I walked over to the lake for a smoke... about 100 yards away, and bass came through solid as a railroad tie with no boom. Excellent!
And now, back to your regularly scheduled program.
