How does it compare to the Omni?

It’s a VCA comp so it’s clean and transparent.
The Omni being optical is a bit more coloured but still pretty clean (and it has that wonderful little Burr Brown op amp). The Omni sits in between the Apex and the Monocomp as I understand. (I am currently attempting to procure an MC to try).

Own the Apex and Omni, borrowed the Monocomp for a bit, and I'd say that's accurate.

Man, there was a Subsonic that dropped its price 90% instead of 10%, it was $27.
I put it in my cart, then hesitated and wrote the seller a quick note. Now it’s changed but the thing that gets me is there was no “hey, thanks man” or “good lookin out, bro”, nothing.

I’m pretty sure it was the, ahem, gentleman from the tres hoja’s thread so I’m not surprised. I should have put ME first and bought that rizz.
