I was never a really big fan of purple most of my life but my opinion has changed drastically in the past week.
Sentinel in the loop of the WL fed by the SubSonic and fudge me if it isn’t rather fandidleyatastic.

the purple bass is no slouch either.

I really hope there’s a loop on any future potential SuperFilter.

My favorite thing in this picture is the YBA-1A. I was just playing through mine, it’s a wonder. I don’t quite understand how a 90 watt tube amp has never not been loud enough. It’s the sound of my youth, the sound of indiscretion, poor choices, and the Corte Madera cops at the door. Lordy be, I love that amp.

Had to take the plunge again so I figured (as usual) just go big. I’ve had some really nice ones in the past but none of them stuck around long. Hopefully this time is different but if I decide not, then it’ll go pretty quick.
Last week was pretty intense on the bass front.

Been playing with the Fliptop, definitely my new favorite drive. The breakup on it is so smooth, I like to turn up the bass to about 2 and treble at noon, cab at 9, gain at noon, and use that for our old school tunes. Then for a more cutting sound, push it with either the SBM or the DCX with some added highs. Sounds great, makes me almost want another for my small board.

BBA ordered. Plans are brewing in my head about having both HPF and BBA under my board.

On another note - Subsonic is still impressing me with the tracking. I almost have to want to purposely make it glitch. Never been able to play so casually with an analog octaver pedal.
