I have got to make some sound bites of my brute and my TBC for comparison .I did play a friends brubaker single cut with the brats and it was night and day to my brute.

There was definitely a night/day difference after I installed my Barts.

Number, please. No pics yet, but the same as the OP's, except the pickguard is white. Barts seem to be the replacement pickups of choice, but I don't know what preamp to use. Any suggestions?

Yeah just sand down a little area where the wire touches and you'll be fine. Definitely post some pictures when you get done! How much did Carvin charge for the extra tuner?
Wow it looks great! Can you get a good shot of the front of the headstock? There is one taken from the top, but I can't really get a good feel of how the black tuners look on it.
Did the bridge come with chrome saddles, or did you swap the chrome saddes from your old bridge?
