I'm still in for a singelcut Brute.
I'd drop cash for the singlecut once they come out. I'd go for a white one or a brown with no burst. Satin finish would definitely raise the classiness of it as well....mmmm
Fingers still crossed for a 6 string Brute. I want a 6, but it's damn near impossible to find a Jazz style 6er at an affordable price point. The only other option I see is KSD. Those basses are badass (seriously) but I'd really like 22 frets and they're only 21
.
Everyone I've seen has been a boat anchor.
But they sound awesome...
My Brubaker is no featherweight so I think I'd be already. The 5 string KSDs that I've tried weren't all that heavy but I've never gotten my hands on one of the 6s.
What do these look like under the pickguard? Any photos? Is it the same sized cavity regardless of if it has a J or MM pickup at the bridge?
Also anyone in Portland Maine got one? I'd love to play one. I am gonna try real hard to visit their facility when I go to Jersey for the holidays though.

I just received my new Brute MJX5. Can I get in the club?![]()
