Brutal open Acoustic jam experience

Has anybody been to an air guitar jam? THAT would be totally acoustic, and unplugged! Just bring your air instruments... no need for backline, tuning up, or discussions about with songs to play. Now...what to do with that one who does the air singing...

I have no idea what the hell you might mean. Really.
Not aimed against you at all, it's just those who starts bickering and whining about someone elses guitar, while not seeing the "crap" with their own gear. You've heard about the mote and the beam thing haven't you?

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

The Mote and the Beam - Wikipedia

BTW, I am not religious at all. It's just that one old adage/proverb, to avoid hypocrisy. No more no less. Like in "what's my 'plastic' guitar compared to your extinct and endangered pieces of wood guitar, with IVORY nuts and bridges?"

But I wouldn't stand down, if such a comment came my way. I could top such comments with a dozen more, firing back. At HIS gear.

That doesn't surprise me. But really, it's childish, and unnecessary, unless of course, one is insecure about their gear. I'd just let it go. And if that Martin was built with Brazilian rosewood, Philippine mahogany, African ebony and other materials, those materials were thought to the be the best for the job, and were PERFECTLY LEGAL and not on any endangered list at the time they were built and sold. Your retort is just silly and hardly a put down.
