I don't understand why a BASS player needs three cheese wires on his instrument, cos now you're into a guitar's range. And if you want to play there, get a guitar!!

You do realize that in the standard bass range (a 4 string with 20-24 frets) at least 2/3 of the notes are within guitar range?

By your logic we should all take the G off our basses and not play higher than the 11th fret E, 6th fret A, 1st fret D

unless you have a lower B, F#, C#, etc
