Building an Ampeg Heritage

I love the 4x10HLF, it's good and beefy. I've never played the Acoustic, so I couldn't say. I haven't heard anything in the office rumor mill about a V4B, I know we've got a lot on our plates coming up with the Heritage B-15 starting production pretty soon, along with the Heritage Reverberocket.

Chrisloe- did ya get it? Did ya?!?

I posted on another thread but no ones responded, I just bought a heritage 4 10 from zzsounds. Hopefully itll get here in time for my sabbath tribute gig. Anyone care to comment on how well it matches to vintage acoustic heads...? Any plans to do a heritage v4b?
I see no reason it wouldn't match well with a 370, especially when it's a got a pretty versatile graphic EQ in it.

I play my 370 through my Heritage 810 from time to time. It brings tears to these old eyes...........:)

That 42 year old monster acts like it is rearing it's "ugly head" when I open her up!!

I find it is a thing of beauty... aesthetics wise (not to mention sound wise by a long shot) I dig the looks of those vintage acoustics and ampegs than the newer markbass and genz benz stuff. Great to hear they match well can't wait to get it here to let it thunder.

Got the 8-10 but no head yet :bawl:

I called the place I bought it from, I have to call back today to see if they can track it. Best I can figure is this place has 2 warehouses, one in Nevada close to me and the other one in New Jersey, the cab must have shipped from Nevada because I got it in 2 days, and the head might have shipped from New Jersey, so who knows how long it will take to get here.

Waiting is the hardest part....

Well my plans for a Heritage SVT pretty much got scuttled. Haven't quite finished doing my taxes, but if we get a triple figure refund back this year, we'll be lucky. Who knew having grown kids would take down our refund totals so much? I swear, the only thing keeping me from being depressed right now is already having a 69 SVT that kills ;) Oh well, what can you do? I'll get over it. Oh well, any chance of turning my Micro VR into a Heritage Micro VR? ;)

Well sounds like they plan to keep making them for the forseeable future so you'll get other chance. In the meantime maybe talk with your accountant about claiming all those kids you fathered on the road ....?

Yep! I can't tell you the number of times (when playing the 370) that the "old dudes" will gather round during breaks to discuss the "old days"!!!

Don't get me wrong here - I LOVE my Heritage CL - no, I mean I LOOOOVVVEEEE The Heritage CL, but there are times that I drag the "old girl" out and let her "stretch her legs"

She sounds just as good (but in a SS way) as the CL.....:D

I'm playing the 7Pro through the Heritage 810 this weekend....I haven't had the opportunity to check it out at "volume", so this should be interesting!

I'll have to look at the schematics, but I think we can super-glue a bunch of 12AX7s to the backside and maybe put Heritage grill cloth on it.

Dang Jimmy!! That's too bad.......

Hang in there buddy, maybe next year. :smug:

I sincerely doubt that the Heritage line is going anywhere! :D

Dude, if I can get grills for the Micro VR + cabs with Heritage cloth, I'd settle for not doing the tube conversion. I'm pretty sure our refund could at least cover that ;)
