... nothing a little paint and some rockin bass riffs can't fix!

For sure.. Oh and I'm thinking about staining the baffle maybe some sort of woodsy brown with bug-eye grills! Toyed with the veneer idea and I couldn't find anything online big enough, reasonably priced enough to justify it for the baffle.

Finally back at it!
Got hardware in for one of the cabinets and routed for it.
Glued the baffle in and things shifted since September so I tried forcing it with a clamp... big mistake. Popped the glue and brad nail in a corner and no real way to fix it. Will not clamp down so it's kind of stuck like that. Taking suggestions!

Hopefully working on wiring the crossovers soon.

Ditch the titebond - put some PL in the gap and honk it with multiple clamps - trim the excess with a razor knife when it starts to set

Long time no post but finally back at it! Cabinet is together and I have started wiring the true 3 way crossover. Progress picture here.
Should I mount these on the back or bottom of the cabinets?

I put mine on the shelf, with a piece of foam in between (I read it somewhere…).

That would most likely be the back then, opposite the 15"..

Mounted in the cabinet, finalizing the wiring. Going to tidy some of the runs.
Basically have to wire and mount the speakers and it will be playable.
Adhered with industrial 3m velcro.. the plastic stuff.. I don't think they're going anywhere.

I'd lay foam on the port shelf - screw the boards down - and hot glue all the components.

The inside of that cab gets raucous - anything left loose will come apart

I personally use a product called GOOP (E6000 as an alternative) to glue the components down.

I would not rely on the adhesive of the Velcro to hold the crossovers, hope you at least staple the Velcro to the substrate/crossover. Otherwise, screw those puppies down.
