I read an article once that cited that one of the ingredients of the McRib was ground up, pulverized industrial rubber floor mats. From what I can remember from having tasted one, it makes sense!

...There is "very little actual rib meat in a McRib." "Primarily, it's shoulder meat," Rob Cannell, director of McDonald's U.S. supply chain, explained to the magazine. But according to a University of Nebraska study, you're really eating restructured pig innards coated in salt, specifically tripe, heart, and scalded stomachs....
So it's basically sausage.
McD effed up when they dropped the "steak," "egg," and "cheese" "bagel" from the bfast menu![]()
My burger came in a suitably sweaty bun, the meat was greyish and was compressed into a disk no deeper than a CD case. To garnish, a handful of raw, coarsely chopped white onion was joined with an exuberant dose of rich, surprisingly sweet mayonnaise. The top half of the bun was sitting on at a jaunty angle. Everything was served at a charming temperature just above that of the human body. I think the chefs subscribed to the 'keep warm under a yellow light bulb' school of cooking. Disgusting.
Umm, a $1.80 for a sausage and egg burrito + coffee for breakfast. One dollar lunch for a fry burger and water. One dollar and 49 cents for a Whooper Jr and water for supper.
At BK!
That's $4.29 a day to eat.
And then I grab my shopping cart, look for aluminum cans and find a nice section of side walk for the night.
I love America!
Both of them are absolutely disgusting. Whenever I've eaten either, I've felt horrible afterwards for the rest of the day.
And you believe that? Hey I've got this land in Florida for sale.....
For burgers - Burger King
For chicken sandwiches - McD's (although I do enjoy the BK chicken parmesan)
For breakfast - McD's. Can't beat the egg mcmuffin.
