Habit doesn't even belong on the list!

There's one around the corner from my job, in fact, on Barranca. I love their pastrami and they have some really good grilled fish sandwiches. My wife and I go there just about every time I have a little money left :p

I work right next door to the one on Barranca. Had a burger there a couple times. Better than the BK that used to be there, but I didn't think it was anything special. Reminded me of Omega Burger on Chapman one block west of the Circle. Omega has better burgers though, imo. Omega's whole menu is pretty bomb, imo.

Yeah...like you said, Habit's hamburgers are nothing to write home about. I love some of their other choices though.

Burger King if I must, McDonalds if there is no possible alternatives.

Both give me a weird, persistent cough, as though my uvula had just expanded having taken exception to one of the exotic chemicals I had just eaten. McDonalds is worse though.

The last time I went into a McDonalds, I was surprised to see that all the staff including senior management was younger than I was. I am 24. I was served by a high school kid. My burger came in a suitably sweaty bun, the meat was greyish and was compressed into a disk no deeper than a CD case. To garnish, a handful of raw, coarsely chopped white onion was joined with an exuberant dose of rich, surprisingly sweet mayonnaise. The top half of the bun was sitting on at a jaunty angle. Everything was served at a charming temperature just above that of the human body. I think the chefs subscribed to the 'keep warm under a yellow light bulb' school of cooking. Disgusting.

The last time I ever went to a fast food place was when my kids were little and they wanted to play on the playsets that they those places have. That stopped as soon as I realized that they got colds every time we went there. It really grossed me out!

"PDMS can be found in many processed foods and fast food items such as McDonald's Chicken McNuggets, McDonald's French Fries, and Wendy's French fries"

Told ya!

"Many people are indirectly familiar with PDMS because it is an important component in Silly Putty..."

Oh, yummy!

I am so glad I do not eat this crap.

I think you just wrote the new menu description for McNuggets & the infamous McRib.

Looks like I may have
