I was looking at Buttkickers, but they are rather expensive for our church to buy. Yes - they probably are the best you can get and fully worth it. The Buttkickers weigh 3x what the Dayton Audio transducers weigh. But for less $$ than it takes to buy a single Buttkicker, we can get 2 Dayton Audio BST-1 bass shakers and a 200w amp to run them. Parts-express has that for $207. Has anyone used the Dayton Audio versions for a stage setting (for us, church worship band) and give feeback on how well they work? I'd be making an isolated platform for the bass and one mounted to it. The other would go on the drummer throne. Thanks.
