Cab suggestions for Mesa Subway D-800+

@Barticus Would you mind sharing how did the comparison go?

Yeah, it was a few years ago. I didn’t post the videos because the testing that I did seemed to rattle everything in the room and I couldn’t get a clean sound that was good enough to publish a video in my opinion. They both sounded great with either amp, but at the time I preferred gigging with my subway D800+.

Ultimately, I preferred the sound of the GR over the BF because it had a tweeter and the clarity was better to my ears over the BF in my opinion.

I get rid of the BF within two weeks of owning it and then sold the GR and replaced with a GR AT212 slim version which was lighter weight. Then I got one of their combos with the One1400 AT212 slim to add to the standalone AT212. I still have the standalone cab in my studio.

I gig with my Subway 800+ DI and go direct now, so no cabs.

Um yeah, but the question was just asked on Feb 5th and I replied on the 6th… so hopefully you weren’t holding your breath from the original post

Ultimately, all of the gear in question is just amazing and top shelf anyhow, so you can’t go wrong with any of it!

Oh sorry…I scanned the dates too quickly…I thought it was a year. Ha!
