Yeah, it was a few years ago. I didn’t post the videos because the testing that I did seemed to rattle everything in the room and I couldn’t get a clean sound that was good enough to publish a video in my opinion. They both sounded great with either amp, but at the time I preferred gigging with my subway D800+.@Barticus Would you mind sharing how did the comparison go?
Ultimately, I preferred the sound of the GR over the BF because it had a tweeter and the clarity was better to my ears over the BF in my opinion.
I get rid of the BF within two weeks of owning it and then sold the GR and replaced with a GR AT212 slim version which was lighter weight. Then I got one of their combos with the One1400 AT212 slim to add to the standalone AT212. I still have the standalone cab in my studio.
I gig with my Subway 800+ DI and go direct now, so no cabs.
