Hello Bass world,
I'm thrilled to share one of my proudest projects yet. Cactus Karma has finally released a fresh EP, entitled "Marmalade." Our sound incorporates R&B, funk, jazz, and neo-soul. We started at Princeton University in 2014, and have played alongside bands like Vulfpeck, The O'My's and Butcher Brown. "Marmalade" was recorded in Philadelphia at Range Recording Studios, and mixed in Brooklyn at Bunker Studios, and was mastered by the legendary Chris Athens.
The bass on the EP sounds huge, thanks to the Aaron Nevezie at Bunker. For you gearheads out there, I play a Modulus Quantum 5 through an Aguilar head and a Bergantino cab. We're currently touring the EP in NJ, Philly and NYC. Find us at a show!! And if you're into it, feel free to share with your friends. We're excited about this project and hope that you are too.
