Calling all Little Mark II owners.

The dedicated preamp out is probably a non-issue for the vast majority of users, especially considering the usable output of this amp. Take it on a gig and see if you really need to run external power. So far I've found that I've had ample reserves on every gig I've done.

You can use the tuner out to drive an amp.

No, that doesn't work, because it's dry... doesn't contain EQ. However, you might be able to use it in lieu of a "dry DI" and then use the (by default) wet DI as a pre out. It also has no level control, so it'll be VERY dependent on power amp input sensitivity as well.

...and yeah, sometimes I do need the extra horsepower, but again, as I said, this particular issue could very well be specifically to me.

Excellent point Brad. Except I would love to use the LMII as a 'wet/full EQ' preamp as a front end for a Bergantino IP112.

Understood, I definitely hear you... but we both know there aren't many in your situation

It would be nice... maybe in the next version. I initially though it would be nice to isolate the preamp and power amp into separately available chassis... but they'd probably each cost close to what the integrated amp costs and since AFAIK there's a far larger demand for an integrated amp over components, what they built makes sense to me.

I also want to re-iterate that my "problems" are very likely unique to me. For the purpose this amp was designed, standalone integrated solution, it shines. Period.

The low impedance issue will definitely call for another amp. There are trade-offs. Then again, it's a little box, they couldn't put everything in it... then what would we have to look forward to

Not to blow smoke... I've used several comparably powered amps and was still surprised at what this amp can do with the cabs I have on hand. Way nicer than my 1200w PLX based setup too.

BTW I'm not criticizing you, just talking these issues out loud. They're definitely legit issues for some and this is a great way to brainstorm.

We shall see. Next gig will be with my NL's so there's no impedance prob there. In fact, I'm kind of excited about that particular match-up.

Yep, it does suck that you can't use it with your full Epi stack. The LMII absolutely kills with one 310UL, doesn't it?

Hey Brad, I agree that users wanting a post EQ effects Send/Preamp out for an amp that delivers such impressive punch seems somewhat extraneous. In fact, I did a large street party gig for a Harley Davidson group last weekend. We were on a large stage and had no PA Support. The LMII / Bergie HT/EX 112 mini stack of joy blew my mind. In fact, my band mates asked me to turn 'down!' Who knew?

GC has them for $599.99 with a 2-year warranty built-in to that price. I got mine at that price with extra gear thrown in because of a minor issue that was easily resolved with an cable tip being stuck in the input jack.

It kills with my GS112s paired and sounded great at practice through an SWR 410.

It shouldn't. A deposit should lock in the sale price at that date, as that should become the date of the transaction.

This would not surprise me at all, and is also why I moved on mine before I was really ready to.

One of the guys from Markbass posted a while back and said that the price increase will not impact the LMII. Of course, if you have an order in for any of their products, you will not be charged the price increase.

Another alternative is to buy the MiniCMD121P. For $800 you get the LMII and a 12" and a case for the amp. Simply the best 12" combo I've ever heard and it's only 30 lbs. Add one of your GS's and I'll bet you won't need anything else. I call it my flame thrower, and then I add the HF151 Standard which in all honesty is overkill.

You're in Canada--so Guitar Center prices aren't relevant to you. Each retailer in Canada sets their own prices. So if Club Bass is raising their price, that's up to them.
I'd check with Club Bass.

Watching my LMII make an Eden D410XLT cry "Uncle" the week I got it was an eye-opener.
