No, that doesn't work, because it's dry... doesn't contain EQ. However, you might be able to use it in lieu of a "dry DI" and then use the (by default) wet DI as a pre out. It also has no level control, so it'll be VERY dependent on power amp input sensitivity as well.The dedicated preamp out is probably a non-issue for the vast majority of users, especially considering the usable output of this amp. Take it on a gig and see if you really need to run external power. So far I've found that I've had ample reserves on every gig I've done.
You can use the tuner out to drive an amp.
...and yeah, sometimes I do need the extra horsepower, but again, as I said, this particular issue could very well be specifically to me.
