CALLING ALL MARKBASS FANATICS... help please?

I have a bunch of MarkBass stuff. Cab names ending in 'H' are for 'Horn' tweeter, 'P' for 'piezo. ('R' for rear-ported, 'F' for front-ported). I love the cabs with Horn tweeters, and I think the piezo's are junk. The horns don't hiss much, though the orange horn in my traveler 121H hisses a little more than the black horns in my BlackLine 151HR and 104HR. The hiss responds much more to an active bass (with pre-amp) and the treble cranked up...and if you really want the piezo tweeter to hiss to high hell, turn it's dial on the cab up and turn up the treble on an active bass..it'll drive you mad.
I can EQ everything however i want with the horn tweeters, and I have to be some kind of f'ing acoustical engineer to get optimal tone quality using a piezo tweeter without getting all that hiss...
..also, turning the VLE on the MarkBass head to about 10 o'clock usually will limit most of the hiss...
...bad AC wiring where you're plugged in will affect the piezo hiss too. It's been less temperamental for me depending on the building I'm in.
I pretty much try to avoid using the piezo in my 151p at all..i'm currently interested in replacing it with a horn tweeter. I'm not comfortable running that cab by itself. I keep the piezo off since I have a traveler 121H, but I'd like to use the 151 by itself..so I'm currently researching the idea of replacing the piezo.

I have just replaced the original Le-Son pietzo tweeter in my 102P Traveller cab with a Monacor HT-30 tweeter. It was suggested by someone on this forum, I think. It was easily obtained via e-bay.
Straightforward drop in replacement (well, a tiny bit of sanding perhaps).
I am absolutely astonished by how much the sound has improved. The cab sounds sweeter and more musical, not just an obvious high treble effect. I know the hi-fi geeks go on about how improving the high treble enhances the whole sound, but I wouldn’t have believed it in a bass guitar cab, if I hadn’t heard it.
Highly recommend this upgrade, and thanks to whoever the original poster was.

When I changed the tweet in my 121 combo I thought the main benefit was reduced high output. So instead of doing the swap in the extension cab I just dialed back the pad by half.

Always feel like the odd one out with these tweeter threads. Got to say I like both my tweeters(K1 Super Combo and 102Pcab). Can barely hear the extension cab at all.
