campus crime :(

Why the hell did all the pro gun lobbyists have a hernia?

There was a mention of armed robbery, people were already discussing knife legalities, I asked about guns and weapons in general.

Calm down.

Perhaps I misinterpreted the original post, but I don't equate "strong arm robbery" with "armed robbery". The first one implies that brute force was used instead of any weapons.

No hernias here, just asking a quesiton. :)

I knew I shouldn't have quoted one post, but whenever guns are mentioned in any bad way a whole bunch of people have to defend on here.

I misread the original post and thought it was armed robbery.

It's just strange reading about it from here and hearing so many stories, when where i'm from carrying anything that could be considered a weapon is illegal.

We have cities where lawful carrying of weapons is prohibited too. They're usually the highest violent crime and murder rate areas of the nation. Quite a different culture we live in here...

One thing that's interesting to note is that on most campuses, having weapons such as firearms or knives is strictly against campus policy and is illegal in some states. Just goes to show that criminals by definition disregard the laws.
