CAN ANYONE BEAT TOM'S BASS?!?!?!

This is the best-looking bass I have ever seen. Owned by by Tom Bowlus(big surprise right?) Skjold goodness!


Anyone think they have a better-looking one? I am interested.

I know I definitely do not own one that can compete. so, can anyone convince me that this is NOT the best-looking bass I have ever seen?

This may be another good thread.

I love Koa basses and all but really this bass doesn't "do it" for me. It's a little looks like a armoire out of a fine woodworking mag to me, sorry.

I would be driving to Tom's and offering to cut his grass/wash his dishes and drive his kid's to school... for the nex couple years.

Alcohol and the idea of this bass are not a good combo right now!

Word brother, I am normally a Fender-ish guy, but this is a whole other story!

I have a couple "boutiques" and I just always end up playing my jazzes or precisions.

When we're talking works of art, there are many great ones out there, but, yes, that one is max gorgeous.

I personally can't enjoy playing something like that because I'm completely not worthy, but, yeah, that bass is beautiful.

my thoughts as well. It's a fine piece of craftsmanship, but it doesn't look like the kinda thing I want to play to make a gin joint jump.

hey bro! you do have one of my very favorite precisions... BUT, this bass is my favorite boutiquey bass I am insanely positive!

if Fenders are ever outlawed, I will sell a house to own this bass.
