Look for a used Genz Benz NEOX 400 combo. It's huge sounding and can take an extension speaker.

This has been a concern of mine for three years. However, I always get away with it.

I popped a Yamaha 1-10, 4ohm cab underneath it and the improvement in volume and girth was truly astounding. I occasionaly plug a Goliath into it and it doesn't have the same effect.

I have a Littlemark head and it, and the SWR, have been out once in the past three years.

In loud bands the cube would definitely run out of power for me unless I had PA support.

I use it for all my jazz gigs and most rehearsals. I use bigger rigs for rock and blues shows.

I do also use a Peavey combo which has a lot more volume and sounds great on upright but the Roland sounds better on electric. Peavey plus SansAmp is workable.
