Insert the word "muffin" whenever you want to use profanity.

"I was just muffin witcha...
Don't even think about muffin with me, dude!
You're full of muffin, dude!
You muffin head!
You're a muffin head!
Just shut the muffin up!

What were we muffin talkin' about?
Effects?
No, NOT muffin effects. I think it was drummers.
Yeah, muffin drummers. Fire each and every back-muffin-stabbing one of them.
Yeah, muffin drummers.

Hey, you hungry?
I was born muffin hungry.
Dude.
Dude!"

All profanity must be fully masked
Not partially masked

One of our members quoted the rule, I believe in its entirety, earlier in this thread.

Yup, they quoted the rule and every member clicks that they agree to the terms of service when they create their account, so when someone makes a thread like this it’s just obvious they didn’t read the rules.

Seriously? I thought that old meme of arguing in favor of incivility in the name of "being genuine" went out of vogue with the hippies back in the 60s.

That one sure brings back some memories of those days for me.

I guess we'll need to agree to disagree on that point. But thanks for the clarification. :)
I wasn’t advocating for it, I only stated my own personal preference.

Welcome to TB. Your contributions so far have been riveting.

C'mon, dude.
Give the guy a break.
We can't all be fascinating intellectual giants all the time.
Looking at his threads so far (ok, maybe not this one:D) there's been what seem like valid requests for help and information.
Sure, you've been here since forever and have no doubt seen it all, but there's no need to stomp on the OP like that.

Well, thank you for asking before doing.

A quick reading of the rules will spare you trouble.

When in doubt about whether a post is OK, it's usually best not to post it. Feel free to contact an admin or mod with questions.

And basically, remember the forum is meant for bassists of all stripes, which includes kids just starting out and taking lessons, so we try to keep it PG.
