Can you identify this bass?

What is this odd beast—I mean, bass?

Could it be one of Chuck Orr's? There are similarities, like the radically narrowing waist, the wide spacing between pickups, and the orientation of the main controls.

Chuck Orr Bass Owners?

Just a speculation.

it does seems like an inspiration for the design.

RE: the controls:

Given that there are three pots, what would the two switches likely be doing here?

I suppose it’s also reminiscent of a BC Rich bass of a certain era. But I don’t know anything about the control strategy on those basses.

Upper strap button in the “tip forward” position?

I want it to have tasty mids. I want it to sound just right for Dio basslines.

I wonder if the dude who made it had a pitbull. Compare the body silhouette to the head silhouette of my dog Tessa, minus the dustpan. From the right angle, with the ears...? Yeah?
