Given that there are three pots, what would the two switches likely be doing here?

I suppose it’s also reminiscent of a BC Rich bass of a certain era. But I don’t know anything about the control strategy on those basses.

Look, man, if it’s got a single split-P pickup in the sweet spot, it’s a P-bass. What a bunch of shallow, overly appearance-conscious people, pressuring it to conform, jeez. It might have a really nice personality and be a lot of fun to be with, but y’all wouldn’t know, because you just didn’t take the time to get to know it.
